The 2008 Jacksonville Film Festival will be giving an honor for a legendary
guitar player Hank Garland who emerged from Nashville in the 1950's.
The movie, entitled 'Crazy', inspired by the guitarist is set to open the
festival.
The Garland's family are reported to attend the Thursday night's opening, which
stars Waylon Payne and Ali Larter, at the Florida Theater. <p>In this movie,
Larter is to play a role as Evelyn Garland while Payne, the country music artist
and actor plays Garland.
'Crazy', is Larter third-late movie in which she plays an important role. The TV
series Heroes is her second last, and a movie 'Obsessed' is now filming and will
be released in 2009.
